HHS wrestling survived 2 tough SMAC opponents for 2 wins, pushing their regular season record to 4-2.

The Canes first battled Great Mills and the Hornets pushed the Canes like they never have before! Great Mills pulled ahead of Huntingtown heading into the last match. Needing a pin to get the victory, the Canes Jackson Cramer sealed the win with a pin, pushing HHS past the Hornets 40-39!

Huntingtown had to battle back to defeat the host North Point Eagles…avenging a December loss at the La Plata Duals…sealing the deal in the final bout with Josh Stokes getting the win to seal it!

The Canes JV continues their work with 8 wins on the night. We have already wrestled more than twice the matches we had last year and every JV Cane wrestler has wrestled on the season! Great job boys!

Attention now turns to our Tuesday, January 7 home match with Patuxent. Continuing our work in the room, we look to extend our winning streak (from the South River Duals) to 8 wins.
